:: Photo of the Day - Birthday Fun ::

It's just fun to celebrate Hannah and Sarah's monthly birthday. Sarah really enjoys the Happy Birthday song and she claps along...and Hannah...just looks shocked when we sing haha. She's probably wondering what the commotion is about.
Oh, it'll also be the only time that Sarah is double Hannah's age 8 and 16 months. I don't really know how it works...is it some maths thing? Not too sure. Anyway, they're actually born in the same year, but 8 months apart.
Fun aside, we thank God for these 2 babies who have brought us much joy and laughter. Truly they are God's gifts to us.

Psalm 127
3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

:: Hannah & Sarah ::

a quick photoshop job using free scrapbook stuff on the internet
Was reading Childhood Education in the Church and stumbled on a phrase under the chapter 'Understanding Infants and Toddlers':

Was reading Childhood Education in the Church and stumbled on a phrase under the chapter 'Understanding Infants and Toddlers':
"That child of yours is helpless in the hands of the people around him. He is pliable to their shaping; they set his mold"and this sentence is actually taken from a book entitled - Children are Wet Cement. I thought that was a funny title haha. It's quite terrible to be a baby actually. can't speak, can't move on your own, can't meet your own needs, have to have the adults guess...and usually get it wrong so many times. To think that God entrusted these fragile little ones into our care. We shouldn't take it lightly.

:: Photo of the Day ::

This is a priceless shot! :) Can't believe Hannah and Sarah are actually the same age. Sarah was born in April and Hannah in December. Sarah's really gentle with her baby cousin. It'll be interesting to see how Hannah actually catches up with her cousin as the months go by. We'll see!
